Actress Olivia Wilde made her feature debut as a director with last year’s Booksmart, and now we’ve learned that her next film is on the way, titled Don’t Worry Darling.
The psychological thriller is set in the 1950s where a housewife’s reality begins to crack, revealing a disturbing truth underneath.
Deadline is reporting today that Midsommar actress Florence Pugh, Shia LaBeouf (Honey Boy), and Chris Pine (Star Trek Beyond) will star along with Wilde.
Shane and Carey Van Dyke (The Silence) wrote the original version of the script. Katie Silberman did a complete rewrite for Wilde.
Vertigo Entertainment’s Roy Lee (IT, The Ring) will produce with Wilde and Silberman. Catherine Hardwicke is serving as executive producer.
