We’ll soon find out. CBS has now given the series order for the spin-off of The Silence of the Lambs titled “Clarice“.

Agent Clarice Starling will be played by “Pretty Little Liars” actress Rebecca Breeds, a role originally played by Jody Foster. Tyler (“The Purge”) also star.

Set in 1993, six months after the events of The Silence of the Lambs, the series dives deep into the untold personal story of Clarice Starling as she returns to the field to pursue serial killers and sexual predators in Washington, D.C. after her encounter with serial killer cannibal Dr. Hannibal Lecter.

The series executive produced by Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet for MGM and CBS in association with Secret Hideout. Aaron Bairs is co-executive producing.
