After the pandemic began, the final season of “Supernatural” went on an indefinite hiatus. We have good news, the series now set to resume this Fall on The CW.
With seven episodes remaining, the finale will mark the end of the hit series that follows the Winchesters and their friends on a mission to save the world.
The reason we have to wait so long is due to the fact that when filming for everything was shut down the series had yet to complete filming the finale two episodes. Luckily, filming is set to begin soon.
Executive producer Andrew Dabb has stated that the March 23rd episode will be the last until the series resumes in the fall. He has also revealed that, “there will be special treats coming along the way – to help us all get through this.”
Following the series’ end, Jared Padalecki will star in the TV reboot of “Walker, Texas Ranger,” which will premiere in January on The CW. There’s no word yet on what Jensen Ackles’ next project will be, though it has been said that he will focus on his musical career.
