From writer-director-producer Mitch McLeod (Staring Back) comes the haunting film Silhouette. In the trailer, a couple’s dream of a new life becomes a terrifying nightmare.
Silhouettecenters on Jack and Amanda Harms who, after the passing of their young daughter, set out into seclusion to begin their lives anew. Quickly upon their arrival, things go awry when the sins of their past come back to haunt them.
April Hartman, Tom Zembrod, Jessica Dawn Willis, and Savannah Solsbery star.
Filmed in Dallas, TX for a modest budget of $25,000, the film made its debut at the Bare Bones International Independent Music and Film Festival in Muskogee, OK, and won Best Actress (April Hartman), Best Horror Feature, and Best of Fest.
Horror Fuel’s Dan XII had this to say about the film in his 5 out of 5 review:
Silhouette works both as family drama and ghost story, and presents a fine slow-burn terror tale that will appeal to fans of more sedate supernatural shockers such as The Changeling. Don’t sleep on this one boils n’ ghouls!
Silhouette is now out on Amazon and Tubi and will be out on DVD later this year.
