Saw III actor Angus Macfadyen is set to star in the upcoming horror Alive, newly acquired by Cranked Up Films.
Thomas Cocquerel (“The 100”) and Camille Stopps (“Reign”) also star in the chilling tale about a severely injured man (Cocquerel) and woman (Stopps) who awaken in an abandoned sanitorium with no memory of who they are or what has happened. A sadistic caretaker (Macfadyen) discourages their questions and doles out punishments whenever they refuse to cooperate or try to escape. When they finally make their escape to freedom, they discover the answers to who they are – revealing even greater horror.”
Alive was directed by Rob Grant and written by Chuck McCue and Jules Vincent.
Cranked Up will be releasing Alive in U.S. theaters and On-Demand on September 18th.
