This Halloween one town’s biggest joke may be their only hope. It’s Adam Sandler to the rescue in the first trailer for Netflix’s Hubie Halloween, from Steve Brill, the same director behind Sandler’s Little Nicky.
The film follows Hubie Dubois (Sandler) who, despite his devotion to his hometown of Salem, Massachusetts (and its legendary Halloween celebration), is a figure of mockery for kids and adults alike. But this year, something really is going bump in the night, and it’s up to Hubie to save Halloween.”
The impressive star-studded cast includes Kevin James, Maya Rudolph, Julie Bowen, Steve Buscemi, Rob Schneider, Ray Liotta, Michael Chiklis, and Kenan Thompson.
