Neon’s sci-fi thriller Possessor, from the visionary mind of writer-director Brandon Cronenberg (Antiviral), has a new release date. Unlike a lot of films we’re reporting about, it has not been delayed, it’s getting an early release.
The film “follows an elite corporate assassin, Tasya Vos (Andrea Riseborough). Using brain transplant technology, Vos takes control of other people’s bodies to execute high profile targets. As she sinks deeper into her latest assignment Vos becomes trapped inside a ming that threatens to obliterate her.”
Riseborough stars alongside Jennifer Jason Lee, Sean Bean, Tuppence Middleton, Christopher Abbott, Kaniehtion Horn, Rossif Sutherland, Christopher Jacot, and Gabrielle Graham.
This intense thrill-ride is produced by Fraser Ash, Niv Fichman, Kevin Krikst, and Andrew Starke.
Possessor will now arrive in theaters and drive-ins on October 2nd, followed by its release on VOD and Digital on November 6th.
