Not only are the main stars, Neve Campbell, David Arquette, and Courtney Cox, returning for the new Scream movie, new actors are continuing to be announced.
The latest addition to the cast is model/singer/actress Sonia Ammar, Variety reports. Ammar recently starred in the film Jappeloup, a drama about a man and his horse. Amma joins other new cast members Jack Quaid (“The Boys”) and Melissa Barrera (“In The Heights”), and Jenna Ortega(“You”).
From directors, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillet, the duo behind 2019’s genre hit Ready or Not, and writer James Vanderbilt comes the next installment of the Scream franchise set to arrive in theaters January 14, 2022, from Spyglass and Paramount.
Kevin Williamson and Chad Villella of Radio Silence, are executive producing. Project X Entertainment’s Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein, and William Sherak are producing.
