The second season of Mike Flanagan’s hit anthology series was inspired by several of Henry James’ tales inluding his 1989 novella The Turn of the Screw and sees the return of “Hill House” stars Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, and Elizabeth Reaser as well as new cast members Amelie Bea Smith, Benjiman Evan Ainsworth, Rahul Kohli, Amelia Eve, Tahirah Sharif, and T’Nia Miller.
The series centers on Dani, a newly-hired governess responsible for taking care of orphaned siblings (Smith and Ainsworth) following the death of their au pair (Thomas). Soon the governess begins to uncover dangerous truths and hidden horrors.
Flanagan executive produces along with Macey for Intrepid Pictures, and Darryl Frank and Austin Falvey for Amblin.
“The Haunting of Bly Manor” debuts worldwide on Netflix on October 9, 2020.
