Earlier this year we shared the first look of Patrick Ridremont‘s holiday horror The Advent Calendar (Le Calendrier). Now, the first trailer has arrived teasing a horrifying holiday season.
In the film, “Eva, former swimming champion and now a paraplegic, has been in a wheelchair for three years. For her birthday, her friend Sophie sends her a strange Advent calendar. It’s not the traditional treats she finds when she opens each door, but some altogether more peculiar gifts, some of which are nice, but many more of which are terrifying and become more and more bloody.”
The French film stars Eugenie Derouand, Honorine Magnier, and Clement Olivieri.
The Advent Calander is set to open in overseas theaters this December. A US release date has not been announced at this time.
