Crispin Glover (“American Gods”), who recently appeared as the hooded figure in Smiley Face Killers has signed on to star as a series regular in HBO Max’s psychological thriller series “Red Bird Lane.”


The series, directed by “Hannibal’s” David Slade, and “follows eight strangers who arrive at an isolated house, all for different reasons. Upon their mysterious and coincidental arrival, the strangers realize that something sinister and terrifying awaits them. Glover will play Jonah, a bad man who arrives at the mysterious house in the center of the thriller for money.”


Deadline is reporting that the cast also includes James Urbaniak, Jamie Clayton, Rya Kihlstedt, Susan Sarandon, Kiersey Clemons, and Grantham Coleman as recurring characters with Damon Dayoub making a cameo. Sara Gran (“Southland”) wrote the script.
