Tony Award-Winner L. Scott Caldwell Joins The Cast Of Welcome To Blumhouse’s ‘Bingo’

The impressive cast continues to be announced for Bingo, the upcoming film that is part of the Welcome to Blumhouse collection.
 
The latest actor to board the movie is Tony Award-winner L. Scott Caldwell (“Lost,” The Fugitive) who joins the previously announced cast members  Golden Globe® and Academy Award® nominee Adriana Barraza, Richard Brake (3 From Hell) in the role of “Mr. Big”, Clayton Landey (Sully) as “Morris”, Jonathan Medina (“The Purge”) as “Eric”, Bertila Damas (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) as “Yolanda”, Grover Coulson (“Friday Night Lights”) as “Clarence”, Kelly Murtagh (“The Purge”) as “Raquel”, and David Jensen (Midnight Special) as “Mario.”
 
Directed and co-written by Gigi Saul Guerrero, the film is “Set in the barrio of Oak Springs, a strong and stubborn group of elderly friends refuse to be gentrified. Their leader, Lupita (Barraza), keeps them together as a community, a family. But little did they know, their beloved Bingo hall is about to be sold to a much more powerful force than money itself.”
 
L. Scott Caldwell currently stars in  “All Rise,” HBO’s “Insecure”, “Sacred Lies”,” A Million Little Things,” and can be seen in  “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.”
 

Jason Blum, Jeremy Gold, Marci Wiseman, Raynor Shima, Lisa Bruce, and Lauren Downey executive produce. L. Scott Caldwell is represented by The Rosenzweig Group and SMS Talent.

Bingo is one of the upcoming films in Amazon Prime Video’s Welcome to the Blumhouse program of horror-thriller films highlighting female and emerging filmmakers, and diverse casts with new and established actors in unexpected roles. The collection also includes  Black Box, The Lie, Evil Eye, and Nocturne which are currently streaming on Prime Video.
