Writer-director Anna Elizabeth James‘ highly anticipated psychological thriller Deadly Illusions is premiering on Netflix this March.
Starring Greer Grammer (“Awkward”), “Sex in the City” alum Kristen Davis, Shanola Hampton of “Shameless” and Dermot Mulroney (“Hanna”), the film centers on a bestselling female novelist (Davis) who is suffering from writer’s block and hires an innocent young woman (Grammer) to watch over her twin children. As the novelist dangerously indulges in her new best-seller, the line between the life she’s writing about and the one she’s actually living becomes blurred.
James is known as a pioneer in the industry for her iPhone filmmaking and distribution methods and has been featured in “Wired” and The New York Times and has spoken at TEDx conferences.
Grammer and Davis produce Deadly Illusions, premiering on Netflix on March 18, 2021.
