‘Spiral: From The Book Of Saw’ Will Stream Exclusively On Starz

Spiral: From the Book of Saw continues to rake it in at the box office. But it won’t be in theaters forever. So where will it go next? As part of Lionsgate’s exclusive new deal, the Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV) directed movie will be streaming exclusively on Starz just in time for Halloween.
 
According to THR, the movie will launch exclusively on Starz, “In time for Halloween viewing, the launch will be followed by the early arrival of the entire Saw franchise on Starz as part of Lionsgate’s new theatrical output agreement with Starz for its Lionsgate and Summit label films.”
 
Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson (Snakes on A Plane), star along with Max Minghella (“The Handmaid’s Tale). Rock also executive produces the movie based on his idea.
 
In Spiral, a sadistic mastermind unleashes a twisted form of justice in the terrifying new chapter from the book of Saw Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner (Max Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.
 
The Saw franchise’s Marl Burg and Oren Kohls return to produce the film written by Pete Goldfinger and Jigsaw’s Josh Stolberg. Chris Rock, Daniel Heffner, and franchise creators James Wan, and Leigh Whannell executive produce.
