The Twitter page for Evil Dead: The Game has teased that tomorrow June 10th, the world will finally see the first gameplay footage of the upcoming multiplayer game by Saber Interactive. The footage will be released at Summer Game Fest.
Evil Dead: The Game allows players to play as either Ash and his friends or as a demon trying to thwart the activities of Ash and company. The game will be done in the style of Dead by Daylight and Friday The 13th: The Game where one player is the antagonist while the others try to survive by completing tasks that will allow them to escape.
The post on Twitter also revealed that Ash’s sister Cheryl will be in the game as one of the many possible playable characters as the game will feature characters and enemies from all the “Evil Dead” films including the TV series.
Evil Dead: The Game is set for release in 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
