Product Review: GWAR’s Buds Of Gods

GWAR. What’s the first thing you picture when you hear that name? The correct answer is a band of interplanetary barbarians and our masters, but a metal band that stood steadfast against time without blinking and inspired many metal bands is acceptable as well. Hearing GWAR and CBD together in one sentence probably does not come to mind right? Surprisingly it’s a thing and a true Scumdog would want to check out! I present to you GWAR’s Bud of Gods. I want to give a big shout-out and thank you to GWAR and Consequence for making this review possible.
 
 

 
 
I was sent GWAR Bud of Gods aluminum dugout. The design is sleek and fits comfortably in my pocket. The rotating top has a nice strong magnet that keeps it shut and everything inside as well as holding the cleaning tool. The only thing I don’t like about the pipe is the spiked end makes cleaning a bit hard.
 
 

 
 
Along with the kit I got sent a four-part grinder with the Bud of gods logo on top that made it easy to grind up the CBD flower that was also sent to me to try out as well. For those not familiar, CBD flower looks like the bud of a marijuana plant with a big difference, it won’t get you high. I thought I would humor myself and give this a try, I will admit, I’m pleasantly surprised.
 
 

 
 
I actually felt quite calm after a hit with no buzz which is something rare for me as I usually have to take meds for that. I’m not saying this out of fear of having my head put on a pike by GWAR or getting paid to say this, out of the CBD products I’ve tried before, these ones seem to be more promising.
The dugout kit and grinder are pretty cool collectible items for any fan of GWAR even if you don’t want to use it at all but there are other products in the Bud of Gods collection you can check out as well as other products from Consequence in their main store.
