Director Rene Perez takes us back to the old west with his action-packed indie horror The Legend of Hawes.

In the film, “A lethal gunman (Hawes) is hired to track down a group of bloodthirsty marauders who have been attacking frontier homes. The marauders are from a dying race of ravenous subhumans. They wear the torn faces of their victims to instill fear. When Hawes finally catches up to them, he finds himself in the blood-soaked fight of his life as he faces death and his own faith.”

Filmed at Hawes Ranch in California, the movie stars Emily Whitcomb, Richard Tyson, Tony Jackson, and introduces Mike Markoff as Hawes.

The Legend of Hawes will be released in 2022.
