Rocker turned director Rob Zombie continues to tease fans with images from his upcoming adaptation of the classic TV series “The Minsters“. The latest image Zombie has shared is a group photo that gives us our glimpse of three of the main characters in full wardrobe sitting in front of the Munster Mansion, including Sherri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster, Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, and Dan Roebuck as Grandpa.

Richard Brake, a frequent fixture in Zombie’s films, is also set to star along with Jorge Carcia (Lost) and Cassandra Peterson (aka Elvira).

The original series ran from 1964 to 1966 and was created by Ed Haas and Norm Liebmann. The series, both a satire of horror movies of the day and a wholesome family comedy, depicts a family of monsters as they lived out their lives. Fred Gwynne starred as Frankenstein’s monster, father, and husband Herman Munster. Yvonne De Carlo played Lily, the vampiric mother. Grandpa, an over-the-hill Dracula, was played by Al Lewis. Butch Patrick starred as the Munster’s young son, a werewolf named Eddie.
