Rob Zombie Shares New Image Of Igor From The Set Of “The Munsters”

Filming is now underway on Rob Zombie‘s The Munsters, and fans are excited. Zombie has been teasing fans now for months, sharing images, sketches, and more. A new image from the set has now been shared on his social media accounts giving us our first look at Sylvester McCoy as The Munsters’s “loyal servant,” Igor. I am very excited to bring you all this exclusive shot direct from the set of The Munsters and announce the casting of SYLVESTER McCOY as IGOR, the loyal servant to the Munsters. Rob Zombie Shares First Look At Main Character From “The Munsters” Reboot

Rocker turned director Rob Zombie continues to tease fans with images from his upcoming adaptation of the classic TV series “The Minsters“. The latest image Zombie has shared is a group photo that gives us our glimpse of three of the main characters in full wardrobe sitting in front of the Munster Mansion, including Sherri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster, Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, and Dan Roebuck as Grandpa. Richard Brake, a frequent fixture in Zombie’s films, is also set to star along with Jorge Carcia (Lost) and Cassandra Peterson (aka Elvira). The original series ran from 1964 to 1966 and was created by Ed Haas and Norm Liebmann. The series, both a satire of horror movies of the day and a wholesome family comedy, depicts a family of monsters as they lived out their lives. Rob Zombie Shares Sketches From His Upcoming “The Munsters” Movie

Rob Zombie continues to share glimpses of his visions for his upcoming adaptation of “The Munsters,” based on the classic 1964 series of the same name. This time, Zombie shared a wardrobe sketch for Lily Munster, which will reportedly be played by Sherri Moon Zombie. Rob Zombie Confirms His Next Film

It’s no secret that Rob Zombie is a massive fan of “The Munsters.” When we first reported in March that he was bringing The Munsters back for a film we were excited. Well, today he officially announced it via Instagram with a new, bright title resembling that of the original series’. “Attention Boils and Ghouls! The rumors are true! My next film project will be the one I’ve been chasing for 20 years! THE MUNSTERS!” Sheri Moon Zombie will star as Lily Munster with Jeff Daniel Philips playing the role of Herman Munster. Zombie film regular Richard Brake will also star along with Dan Roebuck, Jorge Garcia, and Cassandra “Elvira” Peterson. Filming will begin in Budapest this year. Rumor has it the movie will be heading to Peacock, which currently is streaming the original series that premiered back in 1964. Blu-ray Review: Munster, Go Home! (1966)

If you are of a certain age (read: old as all fuckity-fuck), then you doubtless grew-up with the fabulous freaky Munster family courtesy of mid-morning re-runs on TV. As a kid I loved every hauntingly hilarious minute of their sensational show… but said show wasn’t enough to contain the ghoulish goings-on, so in 1966 a fearsome feature film was created… and this time the Munsters came at ya in creepy color for the first time! Munster, Go Home! (the film in question, ‘natch) sees the family’s patriarch, the Frankenstein monster surrogate Herman (Fred Gwynne), inheriting an ancestral family home down jolly ol’ England way!
