Back in 1998, “Twisted Sister” rocker Dee Snider wrote and starred in the horror movie Strangeland, which has since become something of a cult classic. Now, Snider is back with a new horror project.
Snider took to Twitter to announce a new movie that it is greenlit and will kick off pre-production in a month. But that’s not all, he also revealed that he wrote the yet-to-be-named film and will be serving as director.
In the past, Snider has teased that he wanted to make a sequel to Strangeland, in which he starred as a sadist obsessed with body modification that lures teens to be his victims via the internet. Could this be it or is it something entirely different? Hopefully, we’ll find out soon enough.
Here’s a look back at the trailer for Sniders’ Strangeland.
