I really enjoyed reviewing Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed as I loved living out a childhood dream of busting ghosts and causing property damage with a proton pack. Guess soon I and other fans will have to suit back up and get ready to continue hunting ghosts as IllFonic has announced today that DLCs are about to drop for the game!
The first of several FREE DLCs that will be coming out each quarter of 2023 will be featuring a new location, ghost, and customizations for characters. The new level is called The Facility. The Facility closed for good in the late 1980s and has been recently purchased by a private investor group, who have plans to renovate and reopen the facility. Unfortunately for them, it’s being plagued by ghostly activity, and construction crews refuse to enter this haunted health center.
Along with The Facility will be a new ghost type that players can bust or play as, and that’s the fan favorite from Ghostbusters: Afterlife and frequently requested by fans, Muncher, the class 5 metal-eating ghost. Along with DLC will be some new customization options for your Ghostbuster.
