This February, Blumhouse’s Five Nights At Freddy’s is set to come to life. Casting announcements have finally begun to roll in, with Matthew Lillard (Thir13en Ghosts, Scream, Scooby-Doo) and Josh Hutcherson (Tragedy Girls) set to star, Deadline reports.
The long-awaited video game adaptation is finally coming, with the mascots of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Joint springing to life with a taste for blood. Production is set to begin this February in New Orleans with Emma Tammi (The Wind) in the director’s chair. Jim Henson’s Creature Shop will bring the iconic animatronics to life.
Tammi, Scott Cawthon, and Seth Cuddeback penned the screenplay for Five Nights at Freddy’s, which Blumhouse is producing in association with Striker Entertainment. Scott Cawthon and Jason Blum will produce, with Russell Binderserving as executive producer.
