The Tidbyt is 8.2″ x 4.4″ x 1.9″ (208mm x 112mm x 50mm), the right size for an end table, nightstand, shelf, or counter. It can also be mounted on a wall with a wall-mount kit (sold separately) BUT if you have a 3d printer or know someone who does, you can download the 3D file for free.
The Tidbyt comes with instructions on how to set it up out of the box and it was quick and easy! You do need a smartphone and wifi for the Tidbyt to work. It must be plugged in to work as it has no battery but you can also hook it up to a power bank if you want to use this on the go.
There are a lot of apps to choose from once you’re all set up. Once I got mine set up I had Nyan Cat on for a while because why not? But I switched it over to the Movie Night animation under Schedule in the Create apps. I found the app to be perfect for hyping up Movie night by customizing the marquee with the name of the film and the date and time of the “showing”. There are plenty of customizing apps where you can post whatever is to be shown on the screen, Of course, there are clock options to help you keep time while gaming or binge-watching.
