This April, A.I. takes on a life of its own in the award-winning (Best International Feature Fantasia) sci-fi thriller The Artifice Girl from writer-director Franklin Ritch.
In the film, “A team of special agents discovers a revolutionary new computer program to bait and trap online predators. After teaming up with the program’s troubled developer, they soon find that the A.I. rapidly advances beyond its original purpose.”
I sat down with actress Tatum Matthews (The Waltons), who plays the critical role of Cherry, the A.I. girl from the film. The young actress, who gave an excellent performance, answered a few questions, including what it’s like to be a young actress and what she thinks about real-world A.I., and if it could be dangerous in the future.
Watch the A.I. thriller, The Artifice Girl, which also stars David Girard, Sinda Nichols, Franklin Ritch, and Lance Henriksen, in theaters, On Demand, or Digital on April 27, 2023, from XYZ films.
