Dragonfly (2002)

Starring Kevin Costner, this haunting film finds a grieving doctor being contacted by his deceased wife through his patients’ near-death experiences and paranormal activity.

In the Mouth of Madness (1994)

Deliverance (1972)

While Deliverance is more of a thriller, it does contain one of the most talked about, most horrific scenes in film history. The star-studded cast includes Jon Voight, Burt Reynolds, Ned Beatty, and Ronny Cox.

Lake Mongo (2008)

After the drowning death of their 16-year-old daughter, a grieving family experience strange events and seek the help of a psychic for clues.
