Following its successful film festival tour, director Jacques Molitor‘s body horror Wolfkin has now scored a summer release from Uncork’d Entertainment.
In the film, “Single Mother, Elaine is disturbed by her son Martin’s aggressive behavior and sudden physical changes. She visits his late father’s estranged family in small-town Luxembourg – where a much darker secret lurks. When she realizes Martin could become like them, Elaine is forced into a desperate fight for her son’s future.”
“With strong practical effects guaranteed to keep genre audiences enthralled and a unique storyline similar in tone to Let The Right One In and Hatching, this family drama meets creature body horror, with a violent edge, is shaping up to be one of our hottest titles for the second half of 2023”, said Keith Leopard, President Uncork’d Entertainment.
Wolfkin, starring Louise Manteau, Victor Dieu, Marja-Leena Junker, and Jules Werner, will be released on DVD and Digital platforms on August 8, 2023.
