A show like you’ve never seen before, “Zombieverse,” is sinking its teeth into Netflix this week. The horror reality series unleashes the undead in Seoul, South Korea, leaving contestants fighting to survive.

“Since Korea is famous for our zombies, we decided to take the genre to the next level with Zombieverse, where contestants are fighting for survival as Seoul comes under a zombie attack. To make the set more realistic, we involved the art team from the series “All of Us Are Dead” while the zombies were trained by the choreographers of “Kingdom.” Netflix said in a statement.

The series stars Anzu Lawson and features contestants Lee Si-young, Na Rae Park, DinDin, Hong-chul Noh, Tsuki, Hong-Chul Ro, Yoo Jee-Kwan, and Kim Jin Young.

“Zombieverse” will make its action-packed debut on Netflix on August 8, 2023. If the series leaves you wanting more, check out some of Netflix’s other fantastic South Korean offerings, including “Sweet Home,” which was a monster hit; the medieval series “Kingdom,” the brutal game of life and death show “Squid Game,” and “All of Us Are Dead,” which pits school kids against a zombie plague.
