Saw X is now playing in theaters worldwide. In case you wondering how it’s doing, Saw X is absolutely killing it! It’s officially a box office smash with critics and viewers raving about it!
Saw X has already grossed an estimated $11.3M from 50 territories this weekend for an estimated worldwide gross to date of $29.3 million in the US, the UK, Mexico, and Brazil alone.
Is that good? Hell yeah! Saw X has had the largest debut of the franchise, already bringing in double what Jigsaw did during its entire theatrical run.
The UK opened at #1 with an estimated $2.3M, coming in. Mexico comes in number two with $2.36 million, followed by Brazil at $992K.
In Saw X, a sick and desperate John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer – only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous serial killer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through devious, deranged, and ingenious traps.
Not only does Tobin Bell return for the movie, but so did Shawnee Smith, who will reprise her role as Amanda. New cast members include Renata Vaca (“Midnight Family”), Paulette Hernandez (“Crown of Tears”), Joshua Okamoto (“Control-Z”), Octavio Hinojosa (Come Play With Me), Steven Brand (The Sandman), Synnøve Macody Lund (Ragnarok), and Michael Beach (Dahmer).
