This December, Shudder is gifting horror fans with a ton of killer holiday-themed movies along with new old and new favorites, premieres, and series, and we’ve got your guide.

One of the new must-see films coming to Shudder on December 1 is the holiday slasher It’s A Wonderful Knife, which will keep you on the edge of your seat, cheering for the final girl, played by Jane Widdip, who stars alongside Justin Long and Joel McHale. Be sure to watch our interview with Its writer and producer, Michael Kennedy.

In It’s a Wonderful Knife (such a great title), “a year after saving her town from a psychotic killer on Christmas Eve, Winnie Carruthers’ life is less than wonderful — but when she wishes she’d never been born, she finds herself in a nightmare parallel universe and discovers that without her, things could be much, much worse. Now the killer is back, and she must team up with the town misfit to identify the killer and get back to her reality.”

Another movie you definitely want to see is the Christmas horror film The Sacrifice Game, which arrives on December 8. Set “at the Blackvale School for Girls in 1971. It’s bad enough that students Samantha (Madison Baines) and Clara (Georgia Acken) can’t go home for the holidays, but things take a deadly turn when a gang of cult killers arrives at their doorstep—just in time for Christmas.”

Mena Massoud (Aladdin), Olivia Scott Welch (Lucky Hank, The Fear Street Trilogy), Gus Kenworthy (American Horror Story) and Chloë Levine (The Ranger) star.

The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula

This season, Dracmorda and Swanthula are on the hunt to find the world’s next drag monster superstar in the star-studded fifth season of their hit reality competition show.
