Last year, Jenson Ackles joined the cast as Soldier Boy. His fellow “Supernatural” star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who played his father, John Winchester, on the long-running series, has also joined the cast of “The Boys.” The new trailer gives us our first glimpse of Morgan’s character, who will reportedly play a vital role in the new season. The two aren’t the only “Supernatural” stars featured on “The Boys.” Jim Beaver, who long played Bobby, stars as the Secretary of Defense.

In season four of the Emmy-nominated series, “The world is on the brink. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son and his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team is fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”

Season four of the series from  Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Cameron Crovetti. Susan Heyward and Valorie Curry have also joined the cast.
