Witness a chilling tale of murder and mayhem as it unfolds in the sleepy town of Owensboro, Kentucky, as the annual New Year’s Eve bash descends into a bloody nightmare in New Year’s Eve.

Just as three friends prepare to face the mandatory festivities at Hooper Industries, a sadistic surgeon named The Doctor emerges, carving a bloody path through the town. As bodies pile up and fear spreads, local authorities find themselves in a desperate race against time to stop the madman.

Unbeknownst to them, this year’s party will be one to die for. Trapped inside a building with no escape, Leslie, Brian, Moses, and their colleagues become the next targets in The Doctor’s twisted game. With the clock ticking and their lives on the line, they must find a way to survive until midnight.

This slasher features brutal kills, chilling suspense, and a killer you won’t soon forget, packing one hell of a punch blending the chills with holiday cheer for a unique and unforgettable experience.

Felissa Rose, Hannah Fierman, Dave Sheridan, and Jeffrey Reddick headline a stellar ensemble cast, bringing their diverse talents to this chilling tale.

Be prepared to be grossed out and awed by the gruesomely realistic effects created by Taintbad Productions.

The film is from the Blood Moon Pictures team of P.J. Starks and Eric Huskisson, the folks that brought you the killer Christmas horror anthology film 13 Slays Till X-Mas, now streaming on Prime Video and Tubi.

New Fears Eve is currently in post-production. We’re about to send it off to be color corrected, the sound design done and it’s being scored. The score is being composed by Frank Dormani who’s doing an incredible job. It’s very reminiscent of 90s slashers like Urban Legend or I Know What You Did Last Summer. It’s giving the movie a big feel and I love everything about it. We wanted to ramp up the gore on a few of the kills, of which there are over forty. We felt they could be more gruesome, therefore, we shot some additional material. P.J. Starks says.

We’re in the grueling hurry up and wait stages of post. While things are moving slower than we would like, they are progressing. Our one-sheet created by Austin Hinderliter has been finalized. Frank Dormani is just about finished with the score, and Josh Siegel is finishing what visual effects are needed. Once we have those two pieces completed then we have to get the film to the colorist and sound designer. Our hope is, we’ll be talking to distributors early next year! Eric Huskisson states.
Be sure to check out our interview with Starks and Huskisson who talked about the project and their plan.
