Ishana Night Shyamalan, the daughter of the renowned filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan, makes her feature directorial debut with the highly anticipated horror film The Watchers. The first trailer has just arrived, teasing a visually stunning but creepy-as-hell film.

The Watchers stars Academy Award nominee Dakota Fanning, who plays the lead role of Mina. Mina is a 28-year-old artist who finds herself inexplicably stranded in a vast, dark, remote forest in western Ireland. Seeking shelter, she stumbles upon a group of strangers. Together, the group is forced to confront a terrifying reality: they are being watched and stalked by unseen creatures each night.

Based on the gripping novel of the same name by A.M. Shine, The Watchers promises a suspenseful and chilling experience. The involvement of Shyamalan, a name synonymous with suspense and unexpected twists, will further amplify it.

Joining Fanning on screen is an impressive ensemble cast that also includes Olwen Fouéré, Kya Brame, Alistair Brammer, Anthony Morris, Georgina Campbell, Ashwin Rajan, Siobhan Hewlett, and Ishana Night Shyamalan herself as well as her father M. Night Shyamalan.

Prepare to be captivated by this chilling tale of survival and horror. The Watchers premieres in theaters nationwide in theaters on Friday, June 7, 2024.
