NEON and director Tilman Singer (Luz) are gearing up to unleash a chilling new horror film, Cuckoo. Ahead of its premiere, the film has a new poster that paints a portrait of its star, Hunter Schafer (“Euphoria”), with a terrified expression on her face.

A Vacation Gone Wrong:

In the film, 17-year-old Gretchen reluctantly joins her father and his new family at a seemingly idyllic resort in the German Alps. But the tranquility quickly unravels. Strange noises and disturbing visions plague Gretchen, hinting that a dark secret lurks beneath the resort’s pristine facade.

Hunter Schafer faces off against a mysterious bird-like monster with a scream-like call that seeks to impregnate women with its evil spawn.

More Than Just Monsters:

Prepare for a twisted take on the cuckoo bird and its infamous parasitic behavior. Schafer teases a monstrous entity with a bird-like form and a horrifying scream. The grotesque elements pique curiosity, and the film explores psychological horror.

Festival Buzz:

Cuckoo promises to be a disturbing and thought-provoking horror experience that will leave audiences terrified and intrigued. Get ready to witness the chilling consequences of nature’s dark side. The film recently premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and screened at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas. Witness this terrifying, twisted tale in theaters on May 3, 2024.
