Get ready for more hide-and-seek mayhem! The directors behind the horror comedy hit Ready or Not have confirmed a sequel is in the works. And it sounds like it will be a bloody good time.

A Banger Sequel

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Radio Silence’s Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin revealed that a script for Ready or Not 2 already exists. According to them, it’s an “absolute f**king banger.” While details are scarce, the directors have expressed their excitement for the project.

Weaving Returns

Fans can rejoice – Samara Weaving is confirmed to reprise her role as the badass final girl, Grace, the sole survivor of the first film’s bloody wedding night. While the original movie concluded with Grace seemingly ending the Le Domas family’s twisted tradition, the directors hint at there being more story to tell.

A Legacy of Horror and Humor

The original Ready or Not (watch the trailer below) surprised audiences with its blend of dark humor and shocking violence. With the promise of a fantastic script and the return of the talented Weaving, Ready or Not 2 has the potential to be just as thrilling and entertaining as its predecessor.

Now We Wait

While the project is officially moving forward, there’s still a hurdle to clear – securing the green light from the film’s studio, Searchlight Pictures. However, the directors express confidence that Ready or Not 2 won’t disappoint with Searchlight and Weaving on board. So, prepare yourselves for another round of deadly family games.

While you wait on Ready or Not 2, Radio Silences’ most recent project, the vampire horror Abigail, opens in theaters this weekend.
