Umbrelic Entertainment has assembled a powerhouse cast for its upcoming horror film, The Possession at Gladstone Manor.
Rising star Caylee Cowan (Hypnotic) takes the lead role. Cowan portrays Jamie Black, a woman determined to uncover the truth behind her mother’s disappearance at the Gladstone Manor. She stars alongside the captivating Charlotte Kirk, who gave an unforgettable performance in The Reckoning.
Genre veteran Lin Shaye, best known for her chilling performance in the Insidious franchise, joins the cast. Jesse Metcalf (John Tucker Must Die), Darren Weiss (Inside Man), and Scream Queen Barbara Crampton (You’re Next) co-star. Rounding out the cast is William Mapother (Blackhat). Both Cowan and Crampton will serve as executive producers on the film.
K. Asher Levin (Slayers, Dig) directed the film, written by Levin and Danny Matier and based on Addam Bramich’s story. The executive producer team includes Theresa Wayman, Anish Gupta, Sean Krajewski, Ronnie Exley, and Jeremy Ross. Brian Katz, Thomas Zambeck, Jordon Rioux, and Chris Knitter take on producer roles.
The official synopsis hints at a chilling mystery: “Jamie Black, determined to find her missing mother, takes a job at the same Gladstone Manor where her mother vanished. As she delves deeper, Jamie uncovers a horrifying truth – her mother is not alone. Sinister forces lurk within the manor’s walls. Soon, Jamie is trapped in a desperate fight for survival. Forced to rely on her unconventional allies – her criminal brothers and their fiancée – Jamie must confront an unimaginable evil that threatens to consume them all.”
