Thomas Walton’s slasher film, Camp Pleasant Lake, is sending shivers down spines. It has now claimed the #1 spot on STARZ, depicting a seemingly idyllic camp transformed into a blood-soaked nightmare.
The story follows a couple who are determined to revive a long-abandoned camp. However, they have unwittingly triggered a string of tragic events and deaths. When they open their horror-themed camp, a 20-year-old mystery involving a missing girl, Echo Meadows, and the brutal murder of her parents resurfaces. Eerie events begin to plague the camp. The couple must face dark forces connected to the tragedy before it’s too late, and their seemingly idyllic camp transformed into a blood-soaked nightmare.
Camp Pleasant Lake is an indie horror gem from the minds of writer/director Thomas Walton and producer Jared Safier. They are joined by associate producer Michael Joy (Marketing Macabre).
The movie boasts a cast of acting veterans, including Jonathan Lipnicki (Jerry Maguire), Michael Paré (The Lincoln Lawyer), Andrew Divoff (Air Force One), Bonnie Aarons (The Nun), and Robert LaSardo (The Mule).
Andrew Divoff, Robert Lasardo, Christopher Sky, Devanny Pinn, and more are rounding out the cast. The production combines the talents of Safier Entertainment, PhilaDreams Films, and several other studios.
