Get ready for another terrifying adventure in the Australian outback. After two movies and a series, Wolf Creek: Legacy, a reboot of the popular horror franchise, is currently in production. Sean Lahiff, who served as editor for Wolf Creek 2, in the director’s chair.
John Jarratt reprises his iconic role as the ruthless serial killer Mick Taylor. Jay Ryan (It: Chapter Two) stars alongside Jarratt in Wolf Creek: Legacy, produced by the Resident Evil franchise’s Jeremy Bolt and franchise creator Greg McLean.
The new movie centers on a family of American tourists. When they unknowingly stumble upon Mick Taylor’s hunting grounds, they find themselves hunted by the psycho killer. Can the parents and their children escape the clutches of the infamous murderer?
Greg McLean expressed his excitement about introducing Sean Lahiff as the director, stating, “Sean isn’t just stepping into this world; he’s been a part of it for years.” McLean believes that Lahiff’s fresh perspective will bring a new depth to the Wolf Creek saga, while staying true to the franchise’s roots.”

We’re exploring the psychological terror of being hunted, the fear and resilience of these young characters, and the nightmarish quality of the Outback itself.”
