Grab a date and get ready for a thrilling new movie, Drop, a suspense-filled horror thriller is from Blumhouse and the director of Happy Death Day, Christopher Landon.
This edge-of-your-seat film centers on Violet (Meghann Fahy), a widowed mother embarking on a much-needed first date. However, her romantic evening takes a terrifying turn when she becomes the target of an anonymous tormentor. The mysterious figure begins sending chilling messages and issuing deadly demands. As the threats escalate, Violet must navigate a terrifying game of cat-and-mouse in which everyone in the vicinity becomes a potential suspect.
Fahy stars along with Brandon Sklenar (It Ends with Us), and Violett Beane (Truth or Dare). Jacob Robinson, Reed Diamond, Gabrielle Ryan , Jeffery Self, Ed Weeks, and Travis Nelson round out the cast.
Drop is written by Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach, the writing duo behind Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare and Fantasy Island. Drop is produced by Jason Blum (M3GAN) for Blumhouse. Michael Bay (A Quiet Place franchise), Brad Fuller (A Quiet Place franchise), and Cameron Fuller (The Astronaut) for Platinum Dunes also produce.
Drop opens in theaters on April 11, following the March premiere of Blumhouse’s movie The Woman in the Yard.
