The cast for the upcoming highly anticipated follow-up series, “Dexter: Resurrection,” continues to grow with Peter Dinklage, renowned for his iconic role in “Game of Thrones,” joining the cast as a series regular. He joins returning star Michael C. Hall, who reprises his titular role as Dexter Morgan.
Dinklage will star as Leon Prater, a billionaire venture capitalist described as a generous philanthropist with a serious dark side. Uma Thurman has also joined the cast and will play Charley, Leon’s head of security, a former Special Ops officer.
“Dexter: Resurrection” is not the only new installment of the “Dexter” universe, “Dexter: Original Sin,” a prequel series, premiered earlier this year to rave reviews. It explores Dexter’s younger years and origin story. We also see him become the killer we all know and love. And they nailed it! The series is almost as good as the original.
Production on “Dexter: Resurrection” began in January in New York, which Michael C. Hall confirmed. The show is slated to premiere this summer on Paramount+ with Showtime.
