It’s that time of year again, but let’s be honest, the best thing about the Super Bowl is the commercials and Big Game Spots. That’s proven with the new Big Game spot for Scream 7, which sees Sydney (the legendary Neve Campbell) being a total badass final girl as things literally burn down around her.

It’s All About Family

Sidney has spent decades trying to outrun the shadow of the mask. But in Scream 7, the nightmare hits home. Her daughter, played by Isabel May (1883), is the killer’s primary target. To save her, Sidney must stop hiding and finish what began in Woodsboro thirty years ago.

The Ultimate Ensemble

This cast is absolutely stacked, bridging the gap between OG legends and the new “Core Four” survivors. Returning alongside Campbell is the franchise’s other final girl, Courteney Cox, as the immortal Gale Weathers. Survivors from the franchise that are also back include Jasmin Savoy Brown (Mindy) and Mason Gooding (Chad). There’s a lot of “new blood” as well, including Joel McHaleAnna CampMcKenna GraceJimmy Tatro, and Mark Consuelos.

In the biggest “full circle” moment in horror history, franchise creator Kevin Williamson (the man who wrote the original 1996 masterpiece) is officially taking over as director.

Back to Basics

After the big-city chaos of New York in Scream 7, this installment is getting personal again. Writers Guy Busick and James Vanderbilt have crafted what is being teased as the “definitive final chapter” for Sidney. It’s less about the scale and more about the scares.

Get ready: Scream 7 slashes into theaters this February 27, 2026. Tune in for the Super Bowl on February 8, when the Patriots and the Seahawks go head to head.
