It didn’t take long for our friends at Gunnar Optiks to return with new frames for me to check out for you all! The latest addition to their Titanium Collection, The Novato.
In case you’re not familiar with what Gunnar does, Gunnar Optiks manufactures glasses that protect your eyes from the blue light emitted by the screens of monitors, phones, computers, and TVs. Their glasses are used by gaming industry professionals, animation studios (such as DreamWorks), eSports athletes, and even the military —pretty much anyone who has to stare at screens for hours.
The Novato glasses are possibly one of the lightest frames I have worn from Gunnar so far! These frames are a modern twist on the aviator style, with their geometric look befitting the alloy that makes up the frame. With flexible hinges, the Novato glasses fit comfortably, and with their ultra-lightweight feel, you may forget you’re wearing them while gaming or reading on your Kindle.
With its lightweight feel and unique look, The Novato is a perfect addition to your gaming gear. If not gaming, then anything that makes you look at a screen for hours. I’ve been wearing some of the past frames I’ve reviewed for GUNNAR for a while and have noticed a difference after looking at screens for a long time, whether it be gaming or writing.
