Stormind Games has just dropped a massive bombshell for survival horror fans. The legendary Akira Yamaoka will compose the soundtrack for Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy. Yamaoka is the musical architect behind the iconic Silent Hill series.

Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy marks the third and final chapter of this acclaimed trilogy. The game blends psychological dread, tense stealth, and chilling supernatural elements. Fans can expect a 2026 release of this highly anticipated survival-horror finale.

A Mother’s Desperate Search

The story follows Susan as she hunts for her missing daughter in Sicily. Thirteen months have passed since six other girls vanished alongside her child. A mysterious recording suddenly reignites Susan’s hope that her daughter is still alive. This lead pulls her toward a decaying noble residence near Mount Etna. The estate was once the proud home of the infamous Ashmann family.

Secrets of the Red Nun

Susan must navigate a labyrinth of relentless stalkers and hidden occult symbols. The narrative dives deep into family secrets, dark obsession, and terrifying supernatural phenomena. As she uncovers the truth, she faces the dark powers behind the Red Nun. Memory and reality blur in this final battle for the truth.

Release Logistics

Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy is scheduled for a late 2026 launch. It will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. It also targets the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. Physical editions will be available for both PlayStation 5 and the new Switch.
