New Line and Warner Bros. are ready to swallow your soul again. The sixth entry in the iconic franchise, Evil Dead Burn, has its first trailer!
Sébastien Vaniček (Infested) directs this new blood-soaked chapter. He co-wrote the screenplay with his Infested collaborator, Florent Bernard. As for the star, Souheila Yacoub (Dune: Part Two) leads as Alice, who is grieving the recent loss of her husband.
The New Bloody Trailer
The first official Evil Dead Burn trailer is exactly what we would hope for. It begins with a panicking family opening the door to see a woman standing there with a car’s headrest stuck in her head. We then see the family in chaos as Deadites set out to kill them. Who knew that dishwashers could be deadly? And of course, this all happens because somebody reads from the Necronomicon. It’s bloody, it’s brutal, and exactly what the franchise’s fans crave.
A Cast Worth Dying For
The ensemble features several familiar faces from the horror world. The large ensemble features Tandi Wright (Pearl), Hunter Doohan (“Wednesday”), and Errol Shand (Deathgasm). It doesn’t stop there. Maude Davey (The Leftovers), George Pullar (Stonefish), and Greta Van Den Brink (Territory) round out the cast.
The Evil Dead Legacy
Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert are producing Evil Dead Burn through Ghost House Pictures. Bruce Campbell is back, but this time, he and Lee Cronin are serving as executive producers. Romel Adam and Jose Canas join them. Both producers previously worked on the hit Evil Dead Rise.
