Everyone’s favorite knit-cap-wearing, blood-soaked antihero is trading her woodland survival gear for a passport and a badge. KWPR has officially announced that The Last Temptation of Becky will celebrate its highly anticipated World Premiere at the 2026 Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal this summer.

This third installment of the cult-favorite franchise—which kicked off with 2020’s Becky and continued with 2023’s The Wrath of Becky—is ready to raise the body count to international heights. And yes, the plot is exactly the kind of unhinged, dark-comedy genius we’ve come to expect from the series.

The Mission: Infiltrating the Fourth Reich

When we last left Becky (Lulu Wilson), she was a heavily traumatized teen. She had spent years annihilating home invaders and domestic terrorists with everything from colored pencils to lawnmowers. Now she’s grown up and officially signed on as a CIA field agent.

Managed by her handler (played by genre royalty Kate Siegel), Becky is sent deep undercover to Poland. Her objective? Infiltrate a family of innkeepers who run a tourist venture at The Wolf’s Lair—Hitler’s actual, real-life WWII command bunker.

It doesn’t take long for Becky to discover that the family patriarch, Wilhelm Reuss, is plotting to spark the Fourth Reich. Playing our nefarious modern-day Nazi mastermind is none other than Neil Patrick Harris. He steps into what promises to be a gloriously campy, deeply sinister villainous turn. Naturally, rather than waiting for backup, Becky decides to take matters—and an assortment of blunt objects—into her own hands.

A Dream Team of Genre Heavyweights

Director Jenn Wexler (The Ranger, The Sacrifice Game) returns to the director’s chair, directing a screenplay penned by Wexler and Matt Angel, based on a story by Angel and Suzanne Coote. Wexler is a beloved staple at Fantasia, making this world premiere a massive homecoming event for the filmmaker. Expect her to go absolutely for broke with a relentless barrage of creative kills and spectacular, old-school practical gore.

To anchor the chaos, the production has assembled a phenomenal ensemble cast. Wilson and Harris star alongside Kate Siegel (Hush, Midnight Mass) and Brandon Flynn (13 Reasons Why). James Urbaniak (Oppenheimer, The Venture Bros.) and Catherine Walker (A Dark Song) round out the cast.

The Verdict

The Last Temptation of Becky looks to seamlessly blend real-world historical anxiety with the franchise’s roots in cathartic, jaw-droppingly visceral violence. The stakes are higher, the villains are dressier, and the deaths are bound to be spectacular.

The Last Temptation of Becky kicks off its festival tour at Fantasia before stomping onto the big screen at a later date. Don’t worry, we’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, don’t piss off Becky. Watch the first two twisted films now on Netflix or Prime Video.
