If your favorite flavor of cinematic dread involves grainy camera feeds, erratic flashlights, and a lingering suspicion that the Midwest is actively trying to kill you, keep your eyes on the horizon.
The eerie new teaser has officially been unveiled for No Witnesses. It’s an upcoming found-footage horror film from indie auteur Joshua Brucker.
Co-produced by Gray Sky Pictures and Echo Cell Productions, the film marks Brucker’s seventh feature-length foray into terror under the Horror Dadz Productions banner.
The Anatomy of a Disappearance
While the creative team is keeping specific plot points strictly classified under lock and key, the baseline setup hits with a classic, unsettling premise.
The narrative is designed to document the tense, agonizing days leading up to Hannah Jones’s sudden disappearance. Looking to hit the reset button on her life, Hannah packs her bags and moves to rural Illinois. Instead of finding small-town peace, she is immediately subjected to a series of bizarre, escalating, and deeply terrifying supernatural occurrences.
Production Timeline
The found-footage engine is humming along nicely. No Witnesses is currently deep in development, with cameras officially scheduled to start rolling this July.
Stepping into the line of fire as the doomed heroine is Berkeley Slightom. She takes on the lead role of Hannah Jones. Anchoring the supporting cast alongside her is Otis B. Dreds.
Given the pedigree of the Horror Dadz collective—who have built a reputation for turning low-budget, micro-scale setups into remarkably effective found-footage nightmares—expect a masterclass in claustrophobic tension.
Eyes on the Feed
Production kicks off next month. So, expect cast updates and official distribution plans to emerge from the woodwork in the coming months.
Check out the teaser now to get a taste of the Midwestern malice. And maybe make a mental note to check the locks on your doors before turning the lights down tonight.
