Suppose you had “apocalyptic enemies-to-roommates” on your post-apocalyptic bingo card, congratulations. AMC just unleashed the official trailer for Season 3 of “The Walking Dead: Dead City.” And it proves that nothing brings people together quite like a city full of the undead and a shared history of trauma.
The Big Apple Gets a Fresh Coat of Chaos
This season, TV’s most dysfunctional duo, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan, attempt the ultimate fixer-upper. They are aiming to build Manhattan’s very first thriving post-apocalypse community.
But because this is “The Walking Dead,” and nice things aren’t allowed to last. Chaos is already knocking on the island’s door. As New York threatens to tear itself apart, Maggie and Negan face a brutal question: Have they actually grown from their bloody history, or will their old demons burn the city to the ground?
The Cast & Crew
Behind the scenes, the series is guided by a powerhouse creative team, with executive producers Scott M. Gimple (Chief Content Officer of The Walking Dead Universe), Showrunner Seth Hoffman, alongside Cohan, Morgan, Brian Bockrath, and Colin Walsh.
Beyond the central Cohan-Morgan trauma bond, the Season 3 roster brings plenty of talent to the concrete jungle. They are joined by Jimmi Simpson, Raúl Castillo, Aimee Garcia, Logan Kim, and Michael Emery.
It’s time to see if Maggie and Negan can survive Manhattan—and each other. The hit spin-off, “The Walking Dead: Dead City,” returns Sunday, July 26 at 9:00 pm ET/PT on AMC and AMC+.
