If your watchlist is severely lacking in swordplay and legendary chin-kicking, Well Go USA Entertainment has the cure. Action auteur Yuen Woo-ping—the choreographic genius behind The Matrix, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and Kill Bill has assembled martial arts icons for his next epic adventure, Blades of the Guardians: Wind Rises in the Desert.

The Most Flex-Heavy Cast of the Decade

Yuen Woo-ping didn’t just recruit a cast; he built a dream team capable of shattering the sound barrier with a single punch. The lineup features Wu Jing (Wolf Warrior), Nicholas Tse (Shaolin), Max Zhang (The Grandmaster), and the legendary Jet Li (The Expendables).

A Dangerous Assignment

The story follows Dao Ma (Wu Jing), a ruthless bounty hunter who takes on the world’s most stressful escort mission. He must guide the empire’s deadliest outlaw, Zhi Shi Lang, across the brutal, unforgiving desert sands to Chang’an city. Naturally, once word gets out, every rival bounty hunter and bloodthirsty warrior in the land decides to join the party. What follows is a relentless, nonstop chase across the dunes, where the blades cut deep, and the action never stops.
