Did you miss the hacking action in theaters? Plug back in, tech fans. The 2026 cyber-thriller Wardriver is officially making its post-theatrical streaming debut next month.
The Million-Dollar Glitch
The film stars Dane DeHaan (The Place Beyond the Pines) as Cole, a brilliant hacker who gets in way over his head. Cole is lured into a high-stakes, million-dollar cyberheist. Unsurprisingly, the gig quickly devolves into a deadly cat-and-mouse game. However, in this digital playground, every single line of code could literally be his last.
A Premium Cast of Targets
So, DeHaan isn’t the only one trying to avoid getting deleted. The tech-thriller features an incredibly sharp supporting cast. It includes Sasha Calle (The Flash), William Belleau (Killers of the Flower Moon), Karina Gale (Grizzly Night), and Cameron Lee Price (Sympathy for the Devil).
The Brains Behind the Screen
The talent behind the camera is just as impressive as the onscreen lineup. The film is directed by Rebecca Thomas (Stranger Things) and features a fast-paced script written by Daniel Casey (F9). Casey pulled double duty on this project, producing the film alongside DeHaan himself.
A powerhouse team of indie and blockbuster producers helped bring the heist to life, including Star Thrower Entertainment, Highland Film Group, and Redline Entertainment.
The Digital Launch
Wardriver originally kicked off its run with a premiere at the Cinequest Film & Creativity Festival on March 14, followed by a limited theatrical release on March 20. If you didn’t catch it on the big screen, make sure your subscription is active. Fire up your devices and head to Paramount+ on July 8 to see if Cole can hack his way out of the ultimate tech trap.
