Snap, Crackle, Pop: Screamify Green-Lights ASMR Chiropractic Horror Crack Starring Elm Street Legend Tuesday Knight
Indie horror streaming platform Screamify is officially stepping into medical horror with its newest original feature, Crack, a tense thriller that turns the viral, spine-cracking world of ASMR into an online nightmare.
Directed by indie genre staple Calvin Morie McCarthy (7th Street Productions), the film stars Peyton Grace Bell, Alexander Molina, and horror icon Tuesday Knight, best known as Kristen Parker in A Nightmare on Elm Street 4. Principal photography kicks off this fall in Portland, Oregon, with an exclusive Screamify premiere slated for later this year.

Crack taps directly into the bizarre internet phenomenon of chiropractic ASMR, where millions tune in nightly to hear strangers’ joints popped for relaxation.
The story follows Anna West (Bell), a fragile young woman fresh out of a halfway house who copes with her insomnia by listening to the whispered, soothing voice of Dr. Ryan Love (Molina)—a Seattle chiropractor with a massive online following. When Dr. Love’s devoted office manager, Rita (Knight), abruptly disappears, Anna steps in to fill the void. She quickly makes herself indispensable: managing his schedule, expanding his digital reach, and eventually replying to lonely fans using his voice.
As Anna’s obsession blurs into obsession by design, everything culminates in the channel’s biggest stunt yet: a live broadcast featuring first-time patients, a rapidly climbing view count, and a neck adjustment that goes horribly, irreversibly wrong in front of thousands of horrified viewers.
“The most comforting corner of the internet is built entirely on trusting a stranger’s hands, and Crack turns that trust into a nightmare, live on stream,” said a Screamify representative. “Medical horror is a new development area for Screamify, and Crack—ASMR horror to its bones—is the first green light on that slate.”

Sure, they look like a big relief and have a fun pop, but people truly underestimate how dangerous visiting a chiropractor can be. An easy Google search will reveal treatments gone wrong. Some have become paralyzed or even killed during adjustments. I can testify to their danger myself. I went to a chiropractor many times before they broke three of my ribs during one visit. If you have ever broken one, you’ll know how painful it truly is. It’s been years, and they still hurt. So, please, be careful.
