Get ready to scream because Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood has officially locked in its complete 2026 slate! And it is shaping up to be an absolute bloodbath. Running select nights from Thursday, September 3 through Sunday, November 1, this year’s event promises an unrelenting gauntlet of fear. It features the highly anticipated “Terror Tram starring Art the Clown,” the triumphant return of fan-favorite “Killer Klowns From Outer Space,” and a slate of original haunted houses that will push horror fans to their absolute limits.
High-Octane Haunts and Slasher Hijinks
The iconic backlot experience gets a violent overhaul as Art the Clown takes over the Terror Tram alongside an original, carol-mutilating score by metal behemoths Ice Nine Kills. Guests will also need to watch their backs across the entire theme park. The silent killer won’t be confined to the tram alone. Over on the main grounds, 80s cult classic Killer Klowns From Outer Space returns to terrorize fans with cotton-candy cocoons. At the same time, “Dead, Deader, Deadest” invites brave souls to explore an abandoned funeral home dripping with sinister secrets. Meanwhile, the explosive stunt show “The Purge: Dangerous Waters” returns to the WaterWorld arena for another high-octane battle for survival.
Original Nightmare Creations and Heavy Metal Riffs
Continuing its tradition of bringing Latin American lore to life, Halloween Horror Nights introduces “KILLceañera: Music by SLASH.” The original house follows a fifteen-year-old named Lola who turns her coming-of-age celebration into a gory festival of revenge. She is accompanied by a Spanish guitar score and an exclusive new track titled “15 Candles” from the legendary Guns N’ Roses guitarist. Street scares also reach a fever pitch with the debut of Freaky Nikki from Focus Features’ hit film Obsession. New scare zones include the chainsaw-laden “Hackerz,” the gaming-inspired “Fortnitemares,” the Mexican circus-themed “El Circo de la Muerte,” and the murky “Blood Bog.”
Behind the Scenes and Heavyweight Headliners
For those who want to see how the carnage gets made, Universal is debuting the all-new “Unmasking the Horror Tour Add-On.” This daytime, lights-on guided walkthrough gives fans exclusive photo opportunities and an inside look at the craftsmanship behind the “Sinners” and “KILLceañera” houses. These fresh additions join previously announced heavyweights including haunted houses based on Sinners, Stranger Things, Hellraiser, Evil Dead Burn, and Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness.
